JAKOBINA COTTAGE
Discover the magic hidden in the heart of nature. Chata Jakobín, nestled in the picturesque embrace of the forest in Račkova dolina in the Western Tatras, is a place where time slows down and the silence of the mountains becomes the most precious companion. A number of marked hiking trails and cycle routes lead directly from the cottage, which will take you to the untouched corners of the Western, as well as the High and Low Tatras. In winter, it becomes an attractive point for snow lovers - the nearby SKI Podbanské offers excellent conditions for skiing and winter fun.
The cottage offers cozy accommodation in three rooms on the floor - two double and one four-bed, ideal for families or smaller groups of friends. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, complete kitchen utensils, cutlery, glasses and plates. Next to the kitchen is a pleasant dining room with a large dining table and a fireplace, which creates a magical atmosphere on winter evenings.
There is a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet for greater guest comfort. It is possible to park conveniently near the cottage.
Built in May 1969, it carries the spirit of the old days, but from December 2022 welcomes its guests in a new dress – renovated with sensitivity, but still with the soul of the mountains. Chata Jakobína is more than just a place to spend the night - it's an experience, a connection with nature, which is a balm for the soul.

Kitchen: fridge with freezer, glass ceramic stove with electric oven, kettle, microwave and basic kitchen equipment (pots, pans, plates, cutlery for 8 people, glasses, cups, cutting boards, etc.)
Hygiene equipment: towels, bath towels, blankets, kitchen towels, cleaning products and paper towels towels
Other equipment: the cottage includes a cot, hatchet, wood saw, briquettes or wood are prepared for heating
The cottage has a covered outdoor terrace with seating, there is a fireplace nearby. Drinking water is from its own source. The nearest grocery store is in Pribylin, approx. 20 minutes away by car.
